Thank you T&C Surf Designs!

Your gift of time and attention in 2023 to help raise awareness for the Punahoa Heritage Forest, as well as the very welcome proceeds from the collaboration, are much appreciated.

From Feb 2023

We’re proud and excited to announce the launch of a highly visible (and very wearable) collaboration with T&C Surf Designs, a long time supporter of the Punahoa Heritage Forest.

T&C Surf Designs collaborated with the Punahoa Foundation to develop an all new capsule collection dedicated to supporting the vitality of our island’s ecosystem. This exclusive range, featuring t-shirts,eco- friendly water bottles, sustainable tote bags and towels, embodies the spirit of conservation and the beauty of Hawaii’s heritage. Each piece, adorned with the ʻŌhiʻa Lehua flower, pays homage to the backbone of Hawaiian forests with beautiful and unique floral prints.

Available in select Hawaiian stores from February 16, 2023, until the end of June 2023, this capsule collection invites you to embrace sustainability while celebrating the rich tapestry of Hawaiian culture and nature. Through your purchases, you contribute directly to the preservation efforts of the Punahoa Heritage Forest, ensuring the legacy of the ʻŌhiʻa Lehua and the health of our planet for future generations.

Discover our sustainable water bottles for a life on the go, eco-friendly tote bags for your daily essentials, and Hawaiian design t-shirts that capture the essence of our beloved islands. Each item not only serves as a testament to your commitment to the environment but also as a beacon of hope for the sustainable practices we strive to promote.

From T&C Surf Design:

The kuamoʻo or backbone of Hawaiian forests is the ʻŌhiʻa Lehua. In nature, it is one of the first plants to grow and emerge on the lands that have been blanketed in lava. The explosion of vibrant red blossoms amidst the blackened landscape is a magnificent sight to see. The importance of the ‘Ōhiʻa Lehua culturally, ecologically, locally, and globally is truly immeasurable.  It is used in protocol, and its flowers are used in lei and as hula adornments. It is the keystone species of the watershed. The mist and rain are captured and makes its way to the sea feeding and sustaining many along the way from those that creep, crawl, fly, and swim.

Join us in this meaningful journey with T&C Surf Designs, where fashion meets conservation. Together, we can make a difference for our island forests and the world.
