Waimea Valley Fundraiser - Malama ʻOhia o Ka Nahele

The Malama ʻOhia o Ka Nahele benefit for the Punahoa Heritage Forest at Waimea Valley went very well. It was a beautiful, sunny day! We had info and vendor booths, a puppet show, and ohia craft activity. The crowd and turn out was wonderful - mostly visitors at the park.

With the donations, fresh fruit donation sales, ka laʻau donation sales - we received nearly $800. Waimea Valley staff let us know that gate entrance tickets and plate lunch donations were likely to be over $1000. Hooray!
